Queuing in lines at the coffee shop or the grocery store are an annoying part of everyday life. Most adults will go out of their way to avoid lines. In today’s busy life, few have time to waste waiting in line. The Queue Prediction Patent uses mobile devices to query surrounding mobile devices to build a model of the surrounding devices, and thus calculate queue characteristics. A user then looks at map software or restaurant reservation apps to see the line length before entering a venue. This technology is currently for sale.
